Issue: NetBotz Room Monitor 355/455 POE Power Specifications Product Line: NetBotz Environment: NetBotz Version 3 using POE Cause: POE specifications Resolution: The NetBotz 355 and 455 are Class 0 POE devices. The IEEE standard 802.3 for supplying power over Ethernet allows the device providing power to use a voltage between 36-57 V DC. The nominal voltage is 48 V with a current of 10-400 mA, subject to a maximum load power of 15.40 Watts.

Issue: NetBotz 750/755 "Error Loading Video, Try Again" message in Internet Explorer Product Line: NetBotz Environment: NBRK0750, NBWL0755 potentially any firmware Internet Explorer Cause: Internet Explorer does not properly load the NetBotz video window. Resolution: Future firmware revisions of NetBotz firmeare will be tested in Internet Explorer however to get images with NetBotz version 5.1 and 5.2 firmware, please use a different web browser. Firefox and Chrome appear to have no issues loading this video stream.

Issue: StruxureWare Data Center Expert (DCE) shows duplicate sensors with values as "Unplugged" for NetBotz 750/755 after reset of the NetBotz unit Product Line: NetBotz Environment: StruxureWare Data Center Expert (DCE) NetBotz NBRK0750 / NBWL0755 Potentially any version. Cause: When a NetBotz 5 discovers devices plugged into it or into Pods plugged into it, each device is given a unique identifier in the database. This identifier is used as part of the algorithm to generate the sensor's unique OID in the MIB. DCE walks the MIB and stores the sensors and their state. If the device has a factory reset run on it however, the database is deleted and along with all of the sensor IDs. As the sensors get rediscovered they end up in the database but will generally have different IDs. When DCE walks the MIB it sees the new sensors and values and they are displayed in DCE. However, it knows of the old sensors so it treats them as unplugged. Resolution: It is suggested that you remove the appliance from DCE prior to resetting the appliance. Once reset, re-add the NetBotz to DCE.

Issue: Can not launch to NetBotz 750/755 on DCE private LAN. Product Line: StruxureWare Data Center Expert NetBotz Environment: StruxureWare Data Center Expert (DCE) NetBotz 750, 755 (NBRK0750 / NBWL0755) Cause: When launching to a NetBotz 750 or 755 that resides on the private LAN of DCE from a computer that resides on the public LAN of DCE, Launch fails to properly connect and allow access to the web page of the NetBotz device Resolution: This is a known issue currently being looked into by our engineering teams. It is planned to be resolved in future revisions of NetBotz and DCE. NetBotz information should still properly appear in DCE and surveillance images should also have no issue. This only affects device launch. If access to the NetBotz web page is required, you will need to either connect your computer to the DCE private LAN and launch directly or put the NetBotz device on the DCE public LAN. The Private Proxy setting for DCE will need to be set at TLS v 1.2 if you want to launch a browser to a private side 750 / 755 No more information is available at this time.

Issue: NetBotz 750/755 Motion alerts in DCE do not contain camera images Product Line NetBotz 700 Series - NetBotz Wall Monitor 755 (NBWL0755) - NetBotz Rack Monitor 750 (NBRK0750) Environment: StruxureWare DCE (Version 7.7 and above) NBRK0750 or NBWL0755 (Version 5.2 firmware) NBPD0165 Camera Pod Cause: NetBotz 750 / 755 devices are discovered as SNMP devices and as such, their alerts in DCE are treated as any other SNMP device would be. Resolution: With StruxureWare DCE 7.7 and NetBotz "Botzware" (firmware) version 5.2 surveillance is enabled. If a camera motion alert is sent to DCE (or another alert configured to capture images), the images will show up in the surveillance view. If the camera is also configured for surveillance at the same time, these images will be merged by DCE. The images will not appear in the alert window of the monitoring pane the way previous NetBotz alerts would contain images. Please note that the NetBotz 165 camera pod must be enabled for surveillance to show these images. Please also note that the images will in no way be directly linked to the alert, you will need to search for the images based on the timeframe of the known alert.
