Product Line: Tesys D line Overload Relays Resolution: The normally closed overload contact are terminals 95 & 96; and the normally open overload contact are terminals 97 & 98. T1 T2 and T3 are the load terminals. The normally closed control circuit contact will open when there is a fault, this contact is typically used in series with the control circuit. The normally open trip signal contact closes when a fault occurs which is typically used to control a pilot light, or alarm.
The LAD7B106 fits the LRD01 to LRD35 range.
The alternative is LRD05 (Note - these are not direct replacements)
Issue: LA7D305 and LAD7305 Difference Product Line: IEC contactors and starters Environment: LRD Accessories Cause: Choosing the correct part number Resolution: LAD7305 is for use on LRD01 to LRD35 , LR3D01 to LR3D35, and LRD313 to LRD365. LA7D305 is for use on all other relays (except LRD01 to LRD35 and LR3D01 to LR3D35).
Issue: Identifying differences between two similar part numbers Product Line: IEC contactors and starters Environment: Products sold and used in the United States Cause: Identifying differences between two similar part numbers Resolution: Both will remotely stop (trip) or electrically reset the overload, however; LAD703 is used on Tesys overload LRD01 through LRD35 and LR3D01 to LR3D35. LA7D03 is used on all other LR*D overload relays other than LRD01 to LRD35 and LR3D01 to LR3D35.
This LRD range cannot be put back to Manual reset, once the overlaod has been changed from Manual (factory default) to Automatic.
