FAQ

Why are your prices significantly cheaper than my normal wholesaler?

Direct Wholesale Supplies is all about the tradesperson. We don’t have the cost of expensive showrooms to operate and maintain like all bricks & mortar wholesalers. We supply all of our products out of our distribution centre and are fair dinkum about passing on the savings back to the people that install our products.

Do your products meet relevant Australian Standards?

Yes. All of our products are tested in independent laboratories and conform to their relevant governing standard. Plus many of our products are actually manufactured in Australia.

Are you Australian owned?

Yes. We are proudly 100% Australian owned and operated.

What about credit card surcharges?

Direct Wholesale Supplies has made a conscious decision not to pass on bank surcharges. We have excluded them completely from our pricing; after all, they are less than $2.00 per $100 transaction.

I need a product urgently, can you help?

We understand that unforeseen issues arise all the time. If you need something in a hurry just give us a call and we will do our best to assist. We are here to help.

You are cheaper; does that mean your products are inferior?

No. Due to financial pressures put on the manufacturing industry in Australia it has unfortunately seen a lot of business and jobs outsourced overseas. That being said all of our products manufactured overseas are done so in the same factories as many other well-known Australian brands. Have a closer look at their packaging. Where possible we prefer to use locally manufactured products and will continue to do so whilst we can remain competitive.

I want a product not listed on your website can you assist?

If there is a product or range of products you believe we should stock simply send us an email detailing what you would like and we will investigate the possibility of introducing that product/range. Please be aware though that this process is done thoroughly over weeks not days. If we can identify a clear benefit to the market then the answer will almost certainly be a yes.
